NGD - Fender content

Post by dime1012 » Fri Feb 10, 2012 2:15 pm

So i got these two buggers the other day.
their both the JIm Root signature models. i'm in no way a jim root fan at all, but he just happened to make his sigs exactly the way i would have wanted them if i ever bought a Fender.
The tele is made in mexico while the strat is made in usa.
tele definitely has more low end growl while the strat sounds much more well balanced. between the two i gotta say im in love with the strat, eventhough i love the tele shape more.
but anyways here are some pics

I love jim's sigs less the EMG's. He sure has great taste.
They have that classic fender feel but with all the appointments to make the guitar more suited to modern heavy music.
I've played both these two and the strat definately is a bit nicer but the tele had very good fretwork, was of what i consider to be ideal weight and resonated very well. Not a bad guitar by any means and great value if you ask me

Nice. Something about Fenders with EMGs seems off to me. Maybe I'm getting old.
