LOL, im with you brother, what is it about the natural look ( in guitars yes, girls, NO ). Plays great, i might dig a bigger whole in the back and chuck in a Sustainer i got laying around.

I want an oiled finish horizon...

I should have bought that old one kicking around on ebay for a while there. Lefties don't show up too often.

But they're the absolute sex... Which dude has his sig Eclipse in oiled natural mahogany? I love the colour of that thing. Nice dark brown.

Wow  i've never found a SV body I dig as much. Yet I dislike the headstock, it's similar to the natural MX's - unfinished headstock looks weird.
Custom Shop SV or re-finished by previous owner ?

I would say that was refinished by Mark himself. Excellent job by the way.

Natural wood finishes usually just look like fucking coffee tables to me, but that came out really nice.

LOL, the danger in stripping guitars is avoiding the Coffee Table Guitar, which I was kinda trying to avoid, the strips and the neck stop people wanting to but TV guides and bowls of peanuts on it I reckon. The biggest shock was how thick the paint was, i thought it would be pretty thin, but man, it was deep !!! ( Unlike its owner). Its actually satin clear finished, then rubbed back again a couple weird ways, makes it look oil finished and slightly aged looking. Hard part was hand painting the logo back on.
Sky, I kinda wished Id left the headstock to be honest, I may paint it black again but when you see it in the real, it kinda works i think. Dunno.

The funny thing is that i tried to imagine which head colour would fit the natural body, and i'm not sure black would so much. Maybe i'd go w/ black hardware on this one in order to balance the whole a bit.
