Kemper Profiling Amp - Bmusic bound?

Talk about the rest of the rig - amps, effects, valves, leads, wireless set-ups, racks, anything that brings out the best in your axes.

Hello sir! I'd suggest cheaper from Europe to the land of cheese and bicycles than from Germany to Australia then to said enchanted land of foxy Swiss chicks :)

I do have something pretty awesome up my sleeve, but won't know if it'll actually work for sure till I have it here in the Studio.

Oh, and for sure about the Cheese and Bicycles - Totally  haha

Hey Guyz and Girls,

Its taken me AGES to finally throw together a Kemper Vid -

Instead of just doing the usual -

"Heres the Amp.. and Now The Kemper... Now the Amp again.... And again the Kemper..... YAY!!

that 100% of people are doing ATM, I thought I'd try and show some different variations of one tone through different setups!! :p

The First Shows the Rockerverb on its own - No Boost. No EQ. Just Amp - Cabs - Mics - Computer

The Second is a Straight up 100% Kemper profile of the exact tone used in the First Clip Straight to the Computer

The Third is a Profile of JUST the preamp of the Rockerverb - No Mics or Cabs Profiled!!
Kemper running straight into the Power section of the Rockerverb and into the same Cabs - Mics - Computer as the First clip

The Forth Clip is the exact same Profile of the Whole Rig used in the 2nd Clip - But with the "Cabinet" section Turned off!! This is running straight into the Power section of the Rockerverb and into the same Cabs - Mics - Computer as the First clip

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwqYAOVQ ... ature=plcp[/video]

Let us know what you guys think!??!

Profile will be up on the site as quickly as I can figure out how to do it :p

Share around and I'll try to get more Clips of the Kemper ASAP!!

Cheers,

Dan -

Thanks man -

I totally spaced and forgot to use the BMusic Intro Clip and by the time I figured it out it was already half way through the 4th time trying to upload to YouTube - 8 hours later :(

Wireless Net can be REALLY CRAP - haha

If I do an "Out the Mix" version I'll use the other intro Clip and put all the links etc in there.

Thanks for the facebook linkage too - You're a champion!!

Cheers -

Good stuff Dan!! If I played this to someone, without them seeing it, I seriously doubt they would even guess there was any change at all in the gear used.

Hey Guyz,

Finally figured out how to setup the Profiles for download on the Silent Underground Studio website.

Anyone with a Kemper can grab the Profiles straight from the site - under the "Toy Settings" tab.

or Here -

Thanks guyz,

Oh, and the settings used on the Rockerverb when making the profile were taken straight from a picture of Jim Roots Rig - Any Slipknot fans can DEFINITELY get in the Ball Park with these Profiles

Hey i know an old thread but just wanting some info.

Currently have a blackstar ht5 into a Evh 2*12, which is good but had a go at one of these kemplers and holy hell it sounded great just with the demos through headphones.

Now have been reading up and can i just run the unit straight into my evh cab and just turn off the cab sim section on the kempler, or will i need a power amp to run the cab.

I like my cab and figure i just get the advantage of running loads of different amps through it?

But my other question is by running it this way will the downloaded settings say megadeth etc not work because i would assume they would have cab selections included in the set ups.
I want one of these, give it to me!!!!!!!!!

You'd need a power amp to run it through a cab.
Either you're a part of the problem or you're a part of the solution. What's your contribution to life???

I thought you meant you had an EVH head Beno. No, as Gav said, you'll need a power amp between the KEMPER and the cab
