because it was too much work to make the first version and i was too busy to plan all the details plus, in the end it started getting a bit cheesy and i knew i would hate it down the line so it was best to stick to a classic recipe.
i play a megafeth style..really heavy with alot of squeals and deadened/muffing chords and it was awesome.

and the knot in the back adds caractor...i even have a proper custom here with 4 knots on the front that will also blow any other custom guitar away for the purpose its been made for..

Shane, 3 weeks expected, took a little while because of the cold weather... Impossible to varnish the guitar during this period.

Should be interesting :-D

hmmm, two things i have noticed from the pics.

the made this one with a single piece neck from the looks of it and also the body binding is now constant width and does not follow the thickness of the maple top.
interesting changes to the design, i am eager to see what difference will make the single piece neck, if any. my money is on no difference. at least to my ears

can someone please suggest me a set of pickups that have lots of highs and mids and very tight bass? i already have a set of painkillers on an identical custom and i love them so i am looking for something similar but not the same.

Nope, she's a 3-piece neck, just didn't show up in the pics I guess.

Sorry if it has already been asked many times, but why do we see so much the separation of the flame maple top. Can't it be put on the body in only 1 piece?
It seems that the separation is less visible on a quilted maple top (for example: http://www.dubaldomusic.com/dynamicImages/787/large.jpg). Thank you for your technical explanation.
BTW, does it affect the sound of a guitar? :?:
