Oh yeah, the price range when new was pretty consistent around the world. Which means they were actually priced better in overseas markets than the US as we're normally more expensive down here after taxes and the like. We had two black Ouijas and two white. One black (this is officially of course, others could have brought theirs in from the US privately) remains here, the other in Germany. I have one white and the other is in Western Australia from memory.
One Iron Cross we had stayed in Australia, the other went to Dubai.

Hi guys,

Sorry, I hate to be the newbie on here, being rude and begging for answers, hence why i'm bumping this thread and not creating one. I promise I'll get to know everyone after, but right now, i'm running out of time to make a decision and i need some expertise (which is a little hard to find). I've come across an apparent 09 ESP White Ouija.. and if it's legit, i'm VERY keen.. but it seems there's a lot of fakes getting around, so I figured i'd ask some experts.. It looks legit to me. Comes with the Ouija case. The bridge, tuners, back covers, battery compartment.. all look the same as my KH2 vintage..

They're asking $8000 Aus. Seems reasonable to me if its legit. I'm nearly sold. Just thought I'd check with someone who might have one.. Ive never seen one in real life. And there's not shitloads of info floating around. And i'm a little nervous to spend that much money on an unseen guitar. I'll post some pics.. any input would be muchly appreciated.. THank you.

Is it in Australia or overseas?

I see, it's on eBay. Brand New. Perhaps the definition of Brand New escapes that seller.
"Case has minor cosmetic wear from flying"
It was "brand new" when bought from a US dealer then it flew several thousand miles and the case got kinda fucked up. But it's brand new.
Note the ESP USA sticker on the back vs this one
http://bmusic.com.au/index.php?main_pag ... ts_id=3202
That guitar was never delivered to an Australian ESP dealer (seeing as we had the only ones anyway) and has no warranty and is therefore not brand new.
But yes, it's legit enough. Just be advised, you're buying a second-hand Ouija, not a brand new one.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah i knew it wasn't "brand new" and came from america, i've had a fair bit of correspondence with the seller. Apparently the story is that it belonged to her late fiancé who was a guitar tech, and he had it as keepsake so it was never really played. Plus it looks in pretty good nick from the photo's i've seen, and i'm not too worried about it having a mark or two on it. After all, my pride and joy is my KH-2 Vintage, and i paid an arm and leg to buy that banged up from new!!! Besides i plan on playing the ouija, coz my KH2 is the nicest guitar i own, but i never want to play it coz i didnt waste all my money on one that was banged up like masters, only to put my own bangs on it! And yes, i'm a Metallica fanboy, and before anyone starts hating on me for forking over my hard earned cash on signature models, so effing what! Bite me.

But yeah dude, thanks for the response. I seen yours for sale, which amused me coz the esp dealer i spoke to over this side of the country reckoned he couldn't get one. But i won't point fingers. Plus, so far i've got this one down to over $3000 less than yours, which is ALOT of money to me, in fact i can't afford to buy yours. Actually i really can't afford to buy this one, but i'm seriously considering making it happen. Cheers tho, i was mainly concerned if it was a fake.
