NGD : Ben Savage Sig. Ltd 7 String.

Hey guys, i recently purchased the Ltd BS-7, and i have to say it is absolutely perfect. I sold my old Ibanez RGD7320z, and i was originally looking for a Ibanez 1527m (the maple fretboard version) and couldn't find one, then i saw a Ltd Buz-7 and Bs-7 pop up on Bmusic, so i thought why not. It took a while to get here, but it was certainly worth the wait. Ill stop yapping on, and show some pics of this beauty!

The specs are:
SPECIFICATIONS:
Neck-Thru-Body Construction
25.5” Scale
Alder Body
Flamed Maple Top
Maple Neck
Maple Fingerboard
48mm Locking Nut
Thin U Neck Contour
24 XJ Frets
Black Hardware
ESP Locking Tuners
Floyd Rose 1000 Series Bridge
Dimarzio Crunch Lab 7 Bridge & Liquifire 7 Neck pickups
Finish: STBLK (See-thru Black)

CONTROLS
Master Volume
3-Way Toggle Switch

I haven't had much time to play it yet, but ill try to give a short review. Straight out of the box, it just felt perfect (the new guitar smell is insanely invigorating). The neck is a little bit bulkier than assumed it would be, but i honestly don't find any discomfort in it whatsoever. I love how the neck is unfinished, the previous ltds i've played with finished necks were a pain to play.I love the finish, and i've always been a sucker for maple fretboards. The pickups (crunchlab/liquifier) sound amazing in it, no flabbiness in B-standard. Previously i was using a 26.5" scale and moving down to the 25.5" came with utter ease. The neck heel, is unbelievably comfortable.

I don't have any problems reaching/hitting the 24th fret, the cutaway eliminates any awkward hand postures in order to reach it completely. The locking tuners are great, and the trem/locking nuts have been a breeze and stayed in tune for the most of it after the first initial re-tune when i took it out of the box.

The only thing that i could say i disliked about this guitar is the setup and strings, i've seen alot of people saying that they've taken it straight out of the box and played a show with it, but i would have to disagree, personally i think it really needs a good setup, so she'll be taking a trip to the guitar tech soon. Also, the toggle switch can be a little annoying to reach.

Im going to be using this for our E.p./live, im 100% sure it will slay in every aspect.

Thats about all i can say so far, hopefully its some help to people

Cheers !
