Eb too, actually originally had my tuner set down a half step without realizing for ages and just got used to it, although since I've had 2 guitars, one will be in Eb, one will be in E standard.

E Standard all the way
Mostly because I dont want to fuck around with my floyds.
Although I'm really considering buying a LTD H-251 so I can muck around with tunings, and the fact that I dont own a guitar without a floyd

EDIT: All my guitars are in E standard, besides my old crappy Squire that sits in the sun. So no doubt it has gone down a couple of steps

I'm learning to love C#, even though I've always played in D or E standard. It's not ridiculously low, but it's low enough that I can get a bit below the root on rhythm stuff.
...because you can't spell "manslaughter" without "laughter"

hmmm
played in a band that used C# standard and C# drop B which was fun... nice chunky sound without being too low.

I really love E Standard though, you have to work harder to come up with heavy sounding stuff in E...

Standard gets very boring I find, my Hellraiser is currently tuned to B due to a massive death metal phase I'm in at the moment and my Loomis is in half a step down.

E standard is all you need to play the entire Maiden catalogue...
