E-II Stu Marshall custom - Stu random star

Post by Stu » Fri Nov 01, 2013 1:38 pm

Guys!

It's with great pleasure I am able to present the E-II Stu RS (Random star).
It's really a special thanks first to Shane for arranging my first endorsement with ESP about 10 years ago. Hands down the finest retailer of musical instruments on the planet and one of the nicest people you'll ever deal with.

This guitar was arranged through my new direct endorsement with ESP Japan. I think it's kinda cool that they took the time and interest to want to work with me and believe in what I am doing musically. Makoto mentioned they may go into production with these - I expect if your interested please send your feedback to Shane.

The feel? VERY classic, like a les paul neck feel - a DREAM to play.

So, here 'tis. Alder body, maple top the rest of the specs are pretty obvious ;-)

Looks great Stu!

I like how you've changed it up and gone for the TOM bridge.

Thanks all. A few days in and I am speechless. Really the "everything" axe tonally. I always used the excuse I need more guitars to gain a tonal range but bloody hell.. this is doing it all. The neck SA cleans up on a crystal changy strat vibe when put through the clean, fender style amp tones - and yet thick throaty presence from the same pickup when put it through shredding gain.
Big fan of the SA's.
Satin neck and I threw some Big Bends but sauce on the nut - singaling.

Full product video coming. I guess Shane you'll be the first to know if they start producing these ;-) :smt006

Damn, Not a fan of crazy shapes but love the Purple and gold hardware combo bonus points for H/S layout.
