What finish is used on Edwards

Post by redeye » Sat Dec 05, 2009 2:17 pm

My Potbelly has a chip/fracture on the back lower bout.
1.What is the finish - nitro,epoxy,lacquer?
2.Any ideas how to repair this?

If I had to guess, I'd say Poly....

It depends on the exact model. I know at least some Edwards models are nitro. Have a feel of it, though, you should be able to tell whether it's poly (hard) or nitro (softer). If it's nitro, it's an easy fix for a qualified repairer; I don't know about fixing poly.
