I think the inlays are pretty cool... Nice guitar, though I don't play 8s.

I'm just starting to warm up to 7 strings and BAM 8 all over the place... haha. I'm not a fan of the douche bag pseudo tribal inlays either and my love for ebony basically means a disdain for rosewood.

If they make a lefty I will take two of them! The best 8 I have seen out of the big mass producers the only better ones are your expensive one off custom jobs such as KxK, Strictly 7, Ran, Rico Jr etc. The new Dean ML 8 string looks interesting too but only 26.5" scale and after playing several 26.5 and 27" scale 8's I know that extra half inch can make a lot of difference in string tension. I prefer 27.5 - 28 but 27 does work and 26.5 does not in my experience of course string guage and tunings can alter the tension but this is for standard F# and Standard with dropped E on the 8th.

I don't like it either. i think ibanez has good choices of 8 strings guitar. One of em is RG2228 prestige. Played it once and the neck feels great.

Would be better with no tribal inlay and fretboard binding, I think.
