Hello from an old forum boy/ what i've been up to

Post by alex0710 » Wed Jan 22, 2014 10:13 pm

Hey dudes!

Long time no post! I definitely miss spending 99% of my free time rolling around the threads on here.

Life has been very tiring. My whole 2013 was pretty much devoted to becoming the first red P-plater taxi (so it seemed  ). So much money spent on petrol and gear. 2013 brought me a new level of gear, firstly buying an axe fx ultra, then other decent sized purchases and now I actually have a rig that I'm semi proud of!

Anywhoo, the real reason I'm here is to show you guys what I've been working on, music wise. Even if you guys don't enjoy it, it's another +1 to the view count

Between being flat out at tafe studying Live Production, being an underage taxi service and sleeping, I somehow managed to put some good time into band related nonsense which eventually became something half decent.

We're called In Orbit - facebook > http://www.facebook.com/inorbitaus

Future Trends > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G1Tn0WB47G4

It is currently a 4 piece instrumental band residing in the south eastern suburbs of Victoria.

Keen to hear what you guys think, from both a musical side and production side. Send it around if you think it's work a thumbs up :smt006

That being said, I recorded majority of this myself, and having no prior experience or knowledge in mixing, etc I managed to do decently I think. Any hints or advice please feel free to share!

Thanks guys x

Hey welcome back, drop in more often!
Future trends sounds pretty good but the lead needs to cut through a bit more.
