How are you guys all doing in light of the shocking events?
I know Scott's OK, I assume Mitch is well above it. Seen Gladstone come up in reports today. Let us know if you're doing OK

Not much food in the supermarkets here seeing as roads are cut north and south, but in the grand scheme of things everything here is peachy. Hope our Brisbane area friends are all safe and well.

Thoughts are with you guys. Just when we think life is good, mother nature steps up with a big Fuck You, Uh Uh...............so sad to see the loss and devastation.
Either you're a part of the problem or you're a part of the solution. What's your contribution to life???

I've got family in Toowoomba, Bundaberg and Brisbane, thankfully they've all been ok so far...

My uncle who lives in Ipswitch has been evacuated. Hope Scott is going good as he leaves near that area.

I am ok.
We should be above the peak by a fair way.
We are actually between the two main rivers.
I'll post some pics from near work, some may have seen them on FB but for everyone else....

For reference, these were taken in October 2010 when we last had 5 gates open at Wivenhoe, bear in mind the river is in flood here also, usually the level is 10 - 15 ft below the road. Keep your eyes on the water intake tower!

We had to cancel a bunch of shows in QLD this weekend because we couldn't even get past tweed heads.
Traffic is just ridiculous.
From what I've heard from some good mates of mine, fortitude valley is flooded so most of Brisbane's live music venues have been trashed including the fort. I have a lot of good mates and even family up there, some of whom I can't get in touch with but hopefully everyone's ok. I think people are only starting to realise the scale and implications of this disaster, it was much worse than we anticipated.
