Re: Jeff Hanneman Signature ESPs

Real shame about Jeff. :( He wrote all the best slayer riffs!

Shane, have you got any of Kerry's old ESP signature guitars? Always loved the red and black crackle KKV-380. 8-)

Re: Custom Order Horizon

If you could find a US dealer who would ship to you, it may work out cheaper, but is likely to take much longer, and I personally wouldn't have the confidence in actually getting exactly what I'd ordered from a US dealer. I've read too many horror stories. Ordering from Japan could be tricky. Again ...

Re: Custom Order Horizon

If you're serious about it, ask Shane to do you a quote.

At a guess, I'd say you're looking at no less than twice the price of that Standard Series guitar.

Re: Is a Floyd Rose worth it?

^ What they said. The only advice I would give is if you have never used a Floyd before, try one that is an Original Floyd (the best IMO) or a Schaller. Not a cheap, licensed version. The Gotoh Floyd Rose is also very good. Some of the so-called "boutique" US manufacturers such as Suhr and Tyler fa...

Re: Is a Floyd Rose worth it?

They're a hassle to re-string, and you can't easily switch to an alternate tuning, but if you like to use the whammy bar, nothing keeps your strings in tune like a Floyd. Re: E-II by ESP Models

The Overseas section of the Japanese website has now been updated with the EII series:

Interestingly, there's also a section for the ESP Standard Series that are on the ESP USA website.
