Re: SV madness !

Natural wood finishes usually just look like fucking coffee tables to me, but that came out really nice.

Re: Custom Order Support Group

CTM standard series? First I've heard of that. CTM features, but not from the custom shop?

Re: Custom Order Support Group

Ya, I'm getting it straight from Japan. They tend to not care where they ship to. I guess ESP is more relaxed with the Japanese and European resellers?

Re: Custom Order Support Group

Just got an email that my M-II CTM is going to ship out today from Japan. Not a full on custom, but still a CTM. I hope I can sleep tonight =O haha

Re: ESP KH-1, signed by Kirk Hammett [[PICS]]

I would think its more likely that 1000 were made. The old sigs usual had a K-X in the serial for the model. My KH-2 starts with K-2 and I've seen KH-3s always start with K-3. So, I'd guess yours is number 769 of a 1000 run. But ESP loves to trick people with the pre-current numbering system...

Re: V-picks feedback

I'll have to try the ultex ones. I've used nylon jazz IIIs, but they are way too thick for me, even though it's nice they last forever. Seems the ultex could be a nice balance, I hated the nylon too for how slippery they are, and another reason I love the tortex... How are the ultex on slippage?

Re: Whats your favorite tuning?

Gotta have them all, which is why I have a shitload of guitars. I have different guitars with floyds set to E, Eb, Drop D, D, Drop C, and have a 7 string on the wish list for B. I may use C as an excuse to get another guitar, maybe a Horizon or Caparison TAT II...

Re: V-picks feedback

I use Jazz III and they are perfect for me. They take a little getting used to if coming from .88s, but once you go jazz III you don't go back, heh.

Re: Kenshin's rig

The flatter, the better for me, which is the one thing I like about wizard necks, they are just so thin that it cramps my hand. Now that I think about it, I think i remember being able to set a radius for the fingerboard as part of the order, but the thickness of the neck I'm trying to get a handle ...

Re: Kenshin's rig

I can't stand wizard necks either. I've been mulling over either a horizon NT-7 or a Carvin (Probably do a DC 747), but I think this is my way of finally pulling the trigger on Carvin. I'm pretty sure I'll have to reroute the pickup cavities either way, but cutting out on the Carvin looks easier, if...
