These tips are great for online buying in general, not just ebay.
It always pays to be at least a little suspicious when buying over the internet.

Re: Finally got my Framus Dragon :D :D :D

Very interesting. Before I bought my H&K Duotone I was looking to get one of those Dragon's. I never got to play one though coz the one I was looking at got bought before I had a chance. I am quite happy with my Duotone (fantastic rock or classic metal sound, not so much for super-metal stuff) but w...

Re: Oh Eric,

I sent an email to that band from Eric's site asking if they actually endorse his guitars and got this response: Yes it's true that Mr. Shamalama Ding Dong giving us for free 2 guitars and 2 bass. The shape (bat wing) it's not bad, and anyway are good as backup guitars. Considerig that for 4 instrum...

Re: Oh Eric,

Then deleted me........ahhh good times, but at least i can Email him, he is after all, as his MSN profile says " A Legend". I don't think so. Aparrently Eric was around "making guitars" 10-15 years a...

Re: dragon, stiletto, hiwatt hi-gain, duotone or other?

I own a H&K Duotone and find it does everything I want, from clean jazz to dirty rock to metal. It'll struggle to do high-gain-fuzzy-peach-Norwegian-snowy-death-metal though, unless you use a boost or something in front. It's got two channels (clean and overdrive), but has two master volumes and a b...

Re: Fav guitars of the 80's

I can see foot's feet! I'm not a big 80's guitar lover, though I do love the guitars they inspired. So on that note I'll say the Ibanez 540R. Introduced in 1987. Inspired Joe Satriani's signature line which has my all time favourite guitar, the Chrome Boy. http://www.ibanez.co.jp/anniversary/157/1.j...
