12 month update. Have owned the 5153 for a fair while now. If you pay RRP of $4000 (head only) you have been ripped off ( and I am a massive EVH fan who will pay more for the EVH vibe) However if you get it at the right price (say $2500) it is an awesome amp. check doug steele on youtube for a demo. all our guitars play great. low action frets dressed correct intonation and scale length.

25.5 have more tension. Floyd should have less tension than stop tail as you can set the springs to allow slight pull up as you do a bend. its a personal choice if you lock it flat like on a music man axis or wolfgang so it doesnt pull up . It will exhibit the same tension as a stop tail of the same...

Re badged sovteks to be exact. Good for Hi gain (chinese) do some research at tube store and legendary tones, but at the end of the day you ear is the judge. JJ;s get a good rap and are reliable, I personally dig Tungsol gold pins, Ebay is still your friend when buying tubes.
