Eadwards Quality

Postby sean106alcon » Fri Nov 26, 2010 2:15 am

Hi guys, sorry if I did not search or read all the titles, but wanted to get right to it.

Considering getting a LPC Edwards (preferably with EMGorz) however I recall when the Edwards Explorers first came out and got too of them, they sucked. Horrible tone, cheap woods and inlays. Total waste of money. So just wondering if any of you knew if the quality increased as well as the quality in those LPC models (not LP, loves me some double binding and and thicky body :) ) No Navigator for me as with shipping I might as well buy a full blown Gibby which I don't want. just a nice copy of an LPC. The bay in the US seems to have em around $900-$1200 USD. Thanks guys.

Here is the main one I want.:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170565578913&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
But barely any feedback and seems kinda high, so me no likey. :)

You have lots of money dude, why do you want an edwards? Buy an ESP instead.

Edwards LPs are much better than their Explorers and Vs

Thanks Shane. Like I said in FB. I am GASsing for the LPC's now I think. Guess they never improved on the explorers. :smt011

Hi Shane - what have you found to be the case with the V's re quality of finish, tone, etc??? Are they inconsistent from one guitar to another or are they simply best avoided due to overall poor build and tone??

Inconsistent, it's tone and attack. Some very underwhelming.
