ESP was founded in 1975 in Tokyo, Japan a one of the world's first "Custom Order Guitar Shops" building only
hand-crafted fine instruments from hand selected high quality timbers according to the player's requirements. Since
then ESP has continued to build "one of a kind" dream guitars and basses with the same passion and commitment
to their craft that the ESP Custom Shop was built on in 1975.
There are no limitations on ESP custom orders. Your custom instrument will be built from scratch to your
specifications in the ESP Custom Shop, totally hand-crafted by their skilled master craftsmen and women. All
players have differing tastes when it comes to finish, feel, hardware, and most importantly, tone. If you've
tired of looking for the instrument that satifies your requirements then it's time to think about an ESP Custom
Shop guitar or bass.
Check out the Custom Shop Gallery for some inspiration
to create your own unique ESP Custom Shop instrument.
